Ughhh I guess this might be the better one since it has the ship mechanic from black flag. But 1 a year is enough already

This is for the last gen, IE those who don't have an XB1 or PS4 yet. Basically Unity is current-gen, Rogue is last gen. As well, looks like you're playing as a Templar in this one.

Strange that it's a last gen release exclusively though (at least to our knowledge). I wouldn't freak out over it being ubisoft being cash whores quite yet, it could be along the same lines as that one PSP game where you played as the Assassin girl, where it was more of a spinoff by a different team

Think it's pretty dumb how many of these games they release, considering that they rarely change the games mechanics. Black flag was an example of the game going in the right direction in terms of trying something different, but for some reason they've gone back to their generic formula for Unity.

Well I'm an AC fanboy so I won't deny I'm a bit excited, but I'm taking a cautious approach towards this. I'm worried it's going to be another Liberation, which I really don't want again ever. That and it seems like a game that's going to have some more boats in it. At least it's set in the icy south/north though.

So this is the rumoured Assassin's Creed Comet? As it's a sort of sequel to Black Flag with a mix of land-based and naval gameplay, I'm actually looking forward to it more than Unity.

I remember when the first Assassin's Creed came out and I bought it right off the shelf. But then came along the second, third, fourth and fifth installment... it really got boring after that.

Black Flag was arguably the best but another two sequels side-by-side may be the key to the series going stale, especially if it becomes regular practice. I can't help but feel cautious optimism due to the series hitting an all time high in November, but this could be where it all goes downhill. It's best to wait and see.

Mind you I still feel anything Ubisoft is vile and anything they make should not be played by anyone due to how they view PC players. But apparently people actually like Assassin's Creed and with this coming out so quickly its almost like when Activision was so confident in Guitar Hero that they were just cranking them out 3 a year.

Not even announced fully and it already has DLC for it. grumble, grumble, etc.
