Better buy some spare batteries for my smoke alarm.
[editline]Wow[/editline]
Wasn't expecting that to happen.
Before the fire sound started, I had to check to see if my computer froze :(
This would be pretty funny if the 680 didn't pretty much do a completely 180 and is much less power intensive and generates much less heat than the 580.
I hope what they're saying about quieter fans and less heat is actually true

Let's not fall for this again okay guys?
The performance you get from one of these cards would be amazing for a single display.
I doubt I'm going to bother with upgrading from my 470 until the next console generation when I'll actually need a better card to run games

lol for more than one reason^^

But it's true.
shut up and take my house
I wish graphics cards weren't insanely expensive for the latest tech. I mean, Jesus Christ $500.00 for the 680 on Newegg. I can understand that it's new, but look at CPU's; Intel owns the CPU market but charges at a reasonable price, even for their latest tech.
Nvidia owns (arguable) the GPU market but still charges an ass load for their products. If they haven't noticed, the world economy has been in the shitter, and I think we'd be more motivated to buy the new tech if it was more reasonably priced.

They have a low supply of Wafers.
My system is ready for this.
I just bought a GTX580 :(
hilarious video though
We don't orbit a sun, we orbit a GeForce graphics card at full power.
My GTX 260 was around 90 degrees the other day
It's an old card, I should probably upgrade
I never understand why some say nvidia cards gets so hot. My 560 Ti rarerly reaches 70 degrees. A GTX 580 I can understand, but thats pretty much it.
It was a one-off with the upper 4xx cards reaching the 90s that started it up. About the same time the worlds combined force of 12 yearolds came forth with their ill-maintained 8800 GTX cards all burning at 105 degrees thanks to them shitting pure dust and fluff into the fans and not cleaning it.
All it takes is one fuck-up. Proof: No one thinks that Lindsay Lohan or the Olsen twins are cute anymore and everyone things Hudgens is a whore. On the male side, Mel Gibson is badshit crazy and Tom Cruise is very naive.
Don't you want to wait for GTX 690?
Why would one do that? After that there is only 3 months to the 780 release and the cycle then continues.

oh man
it brings me back to the old and funny GTX 470/480 days...
display driver has recovered from a fatal error
Livestream that a friend sent me... Was from the day before release i think.

I like how there's really bad screentearing in the thumbnail

my 470 has been about about 90 from day one when running games

Holy hell, time for an Afterburner custom fan profile!
My 560 Ti just burned my basement down.
I have a GTX 460M in my asus laptop. Pretty sweet little beast. The cooling system is HUGE though.
I need a new stove
I need a new stove
A 680 will do. Just lay your computer on its side, boot up and launch Crysis and lay a grill over the side of your case with the side panel off of course. You'll be cooking in seconds!

GPUs are very large, very powerful chips (much more than CPUs), and they also come with a cooler and memory along with lots of other hardware.
Besides, the 680 is an enthusiast product - keep your eyes on the 670 (usually only 15% slower and much cheaper) and 660.

In fact, the 680 is 300mm^2 whereas the i5 2500K is only 80mm^2.
