Hey, I'm Sixx, or as my YouTube alias goes; Lenamode, and I make really awful videos for people that are higher rank than me to cringe at.
I'm an MG1 deranked to fucking SEM and I'm just trying to make it in this cold, dark world.
Pls give feedback (or just mindlessly bully the shit out of me) on how I can make my content better and drop a thumbs up if you cringed :thebest:

please don't try and be mr funny self deprecating man when you post youtube content that you've created.
if you don't like the content you create, then don't post it. now it's obvious that you don't actually think your content is terrible, you just think that facepunch will think it's terrible. so the best action here is not to post it
i make league of legends youtube meme shit content that i know facepunch would tear me apart for, but i don't come here like "lol guys im so shit lmao please subscribe or dont cause im shit...". i take pride and enjoy what I create, I just keep it away from facepunch.

While I don't like the self-deprecating humour, I don't think facepunch has one opinion. Posting your videos in the right thread/context might be a good idea.
That being said, Sizz_ literally joined to advertise his video.

Hey man thanks for the advice, I just try to take the whole "poke fun at yourself so nobody else can" route because I know FacePunch is a bit notorious for being a hunting grounds for this kind of thing, and humility never hurt.
P.S just checked out your channel, LoL's never really been my thing but that's pretty g00d b0ss.

Nah, look at my join date, I joined ages ago. I just thought posting here would be a good way to get some more views.
Saying your stuff is shit really doesn't make me want to look at it. But keep making videos and don't be afraid to try new things.

I stand corrected on the date.
One thing I think you can improve on is the audio, your voice is being well heard, but I can barely hear your friends' voices and the gameplay, which kinda ruins the fun, making it a 1-person sitcom.
Also you could probably use a slow down effect for comedical uses like when you lost against against that p90 guy you could've won, and when you penetrated that one guy through the wall.
Just my 2 tips, video was ok though.
I can tell you right now that a bunch of people are going to think you're immature and unfunny based on the thumbnail alone:

And that's not me trying to be a dick, that's me being sincere. "Silly" faces input thrown into game images has been this weird cliche of YouTube for a while now so you're associating yourself with other YouTubers - some of which might make you look bad. I instantly saw the thumbnail and thought it was clickbait that was trying to live up to the generic Let's Player.
I get it dude, you want to leave your legacy, be well known for what you do however it just doesn't work that way.
But to be honest why do you say your videos are awful and than say "thumps up"? Sounds like you have no confidence.
You gotta be more selective about the footage you choose to upload. A lot of generic youtubers just upload footage that was more funny to them in the moment but looking back wasn't really funny at all. You gotta find interesting footage to put up rather than footage that you think could be kinda funny. Like, footage of you running a hostage to spawn while humming the Mission Impossible theme isn't all that funny or interesting to watch. Watching yourself die to a guy outside and then having your friend follow up on that kill wasn't really that interesting to watch either. I feel like I missed a joke there or something but that's all it looked like to me.
Be more selective about footage and put in what you know is funny. I've seen lots of people just put in footage from one or two game sessions trying to select out the funniest parts from that small gametime and try to make the video maybe 3 minutes long, but it suffers like that. Play more and only put in what you know is funny otherwise your videos won't be very memorable or interesting. Take the hit and put in like 2 minutes of the funniest footage rather than 4 minutes of funny footage mixed with less interesting gameplay.

Compare Vinny and Joel's individual Vinesauce streams and their final videos that they upload. It goes from literally hours of gameplay to 3-5 minutes chopped up.
