Hey, I made this with the intention of sounding like something from the 90s. It's 100% original, not counting the voice samples from 90's movies.

awesome! tone down the reso on the bass a bit i reckon, maybe a pure cut up amen break would sound more true to the roots? in the main drum loop there seems to be a gap in the hats after the first and second kick, leaving the first 2 beats a bit empty?
and the slower bit at 2.22 doesn't fit, if you want to drop the tempo, don't just play the faster loop over the top, it clashes and sounds like a kid who's just discovered virtual dj
Thanks for listening and commenting :) For the part at around 2:22, it's actually the same tempo, it's just a weird beat kinda. It's actually from one of my other tracks [url]http://soundcloud.com/lightningability/lightning-ability-booda[/url] just reexported as the new tempo and added on as a little breakdown or whatever.
Not bad, not bad at all, I really like it.
