Take what back?

I'm curious how Spain is for LGBT stuff. Even in Seattle one of the "liberal bastions" you still have to be careful where you're open or affectionate and there are more attacks now than ever before.

I was being cynical about it being exploitative for youtube views, but I didn't realize the message/organizations behind them, I thought they were just random youtubers.
It's not set up or anything, most people here will react like this here, it's so nice for a country that was in a (Catholic) fascist dictatorship for 40 years and has had barely 30 years of democracy.
I've never have had any problems on the street with my bf, and when we saw someone get harrassed for it (verbally or otherwise) everyone else always jumped to defend the poor guys, even part of the elderly respects even though they might not fully understand.
Having marriage and rights for every couple since 2004 helped I guess

Like I said above, if you live in a large village or in the city you won't have any problems except if you randomly meet some douche, which has never happened to me. I walk holding hands with my boyfriend everytime we're out and, while there are some people that look there isn't any harrassment or unconfortable situations.
As for the police stuff it's true, if you're being harrassed (even online) or discriminated against you can sue and the law works, offenders get punished for it often.

Ah, fair enough. Its not unheard of for that to happen.

Thats really nice to hear, then. Wouldn't have guessed it'd be that progressive there, tbh.
