Pictured above: not Britain.
Those people look miserable.
66.2 F is a heatwave?
What's that? I can't hear you over my 25c in the shade.
how is 19c a heatwave, even in britain?
In California where I live, it's exactly that same heat right now, but with rain.
Okay, even in Canada 21c is normal right about now or maybe it's not, idk
how is 19c a heatwave, even in britain?
We've had the coldest start to the year since records began (I think don't quote me on this), and this is pretty much 15c higher than it has been all year so we're making the most of it
For us Americans, 19c is about 66 degrees Fahrenheit. I can only assume this is a much better improvement on the usual temperature you get?
So many fucking people outside today. At the slightest glimpse of sunlight it's "Right Barbara, slap on yer shades an fetch me shorts we're off t' Skeg." I must say though, its a welcome change, just hope the sun doesn't fuck off all summer like last year.
Constantly 33c here in Texas. Kill me.
It's about fucking time for heat to start showing up, what with the snow back in March. I was able to mow the lawn in shorts for the first time in like six months today.
It's 22 C in the GTA in Ontario, oh god it got to 26 C in Toronto! Heatwave. Sensationalist.
Man in England people freak out over the slightest oddities in the weather. First the snow, now the heat aha
we got over 0 degrees here in Scotland today. everything is burning its horrible help us
Man in England people freak out over the slightest oddities in the weather. First the snow, now the heat aha
I don't think many people are freaking out over 19c, just the dailymail as usual
Man in England people freak out over the slightest oddities in the weather. First the snow, now the heat aha
To be fair we're not exactly constantly subject to either extremes over here.
At least they get snow :c Here downunder ('straya), during summer it can get as hot as 44 - 45c (111 F)
For us Americans, 19c is about 66 degrees Fahrenheit. I can only assume this is a much better improvement on the usual temperature you get?
80 degrees F is about the highest it ever gets. When it goes that high, you get people coming into the hospital with shit like heat stroke. :v: Britain's "heat waves" are the tamest shit I've ever experienced.
Heatwave in the UK = No rain or cloud, bit of sun.
~30°C average in here. Tends to climb up to as much as 45 during Summer. If this is what British people call a heat wave I can't imagine what would ours do to them this time of the year.
I was able to go out in a t shirt today, it was amazing.
Britain is perfectly capable of cooking at times, 35C isn't unheard of with a record of 38.5 in England.
What's that? I can't hear you over my 25c in the shade.
These are the situations at which I heavily contemplate suicide each time.
But that won't be for a few months more RIP MY AUTOMERGE 2013-2013
It's 82f and 45% humidity here in sunny south florida B)
how is 19c a heatwave, even in britain?
It sure as fuck would be a heatwave where I live. :v: [editline]5th May 2013[/editline] ...Norway... I want to go to Britain now.
Fahrenheit is such an awkward way of measuring temperature
