That's mighty fine of the devs to do!
I've heard not a single bad thing about the JC2 devs
Awesome.....does that mean it will just be available early? Like if I arrive at home, will it be available?
What a bunch of bros. Good on em! [editline]27th November 2015[/editline] Also it's sad that good treatment of video game customers is considered rare nowadays
Awesome.....does that mean it will just be available early? Like if I arrive at home, will it be available?
It was only made available early in some regions, most probably through retail. Chances are more than good if you pre-ordered on Steam, you'll still be waiting a short while.
Awesome.....does that mean it will just be available early? Basically doing the opposite of the norm which is try and get them banned from whatever service they are playing it on.

Avalanche Studios is probably my number 1 game studio because they care about us. They have truly earned my money and I'll be gladly paying €60,- for Just Cause 3.
reminder that when avalanche released the just cause 2 demo they actually released multiple patches for it to fix issues for people

I hope they do an Alien Isolation and push the release date forward on Steam.
Why not just release it for everyone else while they are at it?
anyone here have it early?
Why not just release it for everyone else while they are at it?
Logistics. Digital distribution sounds like it would be easy to do but it is not, and physical copies may have not even arrived at retail stores yet.
CDProjekt Red are pretty based too.
I still can't believe they dropped their promise of modkid delivery for Witcher 3 :@ Avalanche are so fucking ballers with this one. I won't be paying the full price, but I'm certainly acquiring this game, sooner or later.
Its already quite cheap for what it is. Can't wait for the mods in this game.
anyone here have it early?
I've been playing it a while but not because of this thing. Its quite funny seeing myself top of the scoreboard in gameplay videos
How have people been playing it early?
How have people been playing it early?
Physical copies, stores breaking the rules!
Physical copies, stores breaking the rules!
Doesn't the game use Steamworks?
Doesn't the game use Steamworks?
Well as far as I'm aware, the people playing on PC got early access to it, such as streamers and whatnot. TotalBiscuit and Lirik for example were playing earlier.
Doesn't the game use Steamworks?
It does, streamers got early copies and only physical console copies can be played atm
reminder that when avalanche released the just cause 2 demo they actually released multiple patches for it to fix issues for people
i probably played that demo for longer than the full game
Avalanche Studios are cool folks indeed, i wish to see more from them outside of Just Cause though. Also they got hired by Square Enix to develop the airship mechanics of the new Final Fantasy game. Kinda cool how they hired one entire game studio to work on one mechanic for a game.
Is there anyway I can unlock mine early, This is my only day off for 2 weeks!

Damn that's very fucking nice of them to do this. Great job.
Play Mad Max. Between the entire Mad Max game was developed, they were also working on Just Cause 3. So it feels a bit like a cash-in. That said, i played it for 2 hours and found it amusing but like my friend said, it just gets repetitive after a while. Even if it is made by them, i just wish for a new IP or something like it, i hope they become the new Pandemic Studios since i was also a huge fan of their games (Mercenaries 1 + 2, The Saboteur, Destroy All Humans, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2)
