Recently, Karapaia, a Japanese news site focusing on the strange and weird, posted a video of what seems to be a giant monster being dug out of the ground in Vietnam. In the video, the long, fat, gray slug-like creature is surrounded by a crowd of curious onlookers watching with rapt attention as the horrifying behemoth is hoisted onto a trailer.
But what in the world could it be? A giant worm? An alien aggressor? A genetic experiment gone horribly wrong? The Ghost of Christmas Past??
Well, not quite…
First, take a gander at this thing. I mean, seriously, what the hell is that?
▼Should this be pixellated? Are we allowed to show this on the Internet?

Looks like a baby whale
Time to start building Jaegers
Looks like a baby blue whale to me.
Whaby Bale.

I think that for now a construction bulldozer will do just dandy.
Still not a reason to NOT to build Jaegers.
It is a whale, if you clicked the link you'd see it's mouth. Its horrifyingly decomposed mouth.

Grabboids!
it's actually my dick
oops
If you watch the video it is really obvious that it's a whale.

Care to inform us on which one?
Because that's the weirdest looking 'whale' I've ever seen.
are they seriously expecting us to believe it's anything other than a whale?
you'd have to have never ever seen a whale before to believe that!

The mouth kinda looks like a whale's. You can see it in the middle of the video when they lift it up.

It honestly looks like some sort of chthonian without the tentacles around the mouth. If it IS a whale, it' the fucking weirdest (and most tubular) whale I've ever seen. We need DNA samples from this thing to figure out what the hell it actually is.
GUYS I THINK ITS A WHALE

I agree there.
After some googling I think it might be a fin whale or a sei whale.
It's really unhelpful that the video doesn't show clearly what the tail end of it looks like. That would answer a lot of questions.

Happy Breach Day!
Didn't know SCP-169 had babies

Trespasser is a little underwhelming in real life
Looks more like kaiju dick
Definitely an Alaskan Bull Worm
Haha hahaha. It's a giraffe. Hahaha

Whale mouth and it has fins, skin is that of a whale. Vietnam is a coastal country and beached whales aren't a new sight. They will often pull them inland to bury them, so they are not digging it up, you can see this quite clearly as the whale is not covered in dirt or soil like a worm, they are digging a hole to bury it,

It's 100% without a doubt, a whale of the baleen variety. Long and slender so maybe a [del]grey or blue whale baby.[/del]

When baleen whales die, they lose all the form in their lower jaw because its just flesh, so they look alien as hell.

The one in the story is just really nasty, been handled and decomposed a lot.

Minke Whale was my guess as well, glad to see the resident Marine Biologist agrees.
That's gotta smell pretty bad
Time to start building Jaegers
Y'know, I'm really not liking how people are thinking of Pacific Rim when talking about kaiju, instead of the actual word Kaiju
Did they bury a beached whale and forget about it or something
