I suck at "life" aka solving random number problems in order to become succsessful - General

I really suck at math, I'm doing 60%, I'm so bad at this, my teacher cant teach, first of all, she just spouts our random shit I cannot learn from, she is extremely fucking brutal with homework and tests and we switch subjects every month so theres no sense studying one thing and becoming good at it. Every month we also have a test that counts to our annual mark, by the time it rolls around im still getting into the subject and fail. My parents now dislike me and try to make me think I will become a hobo. They will solve this by taking away all of my possessions and friends. What the fuck. I hate how society has become so degrading to choose how your quality of life will be from your ability to learn something, from a horrible teacher. PS. DOnt ban me im trying to make a discussion about school and shit, also im asking for advice about my shitass situation.

I got my Xbox and laptop taken away because I failed Spanish. You know what I did? I sucked it up and passed Spanish next time 'round. And better grades means better college, better life afterwards. Think ahead. All your angsty ideas about the bullshit we go through mean nothing in the long run. Education does. Oh, also, my Spanish teacher was horrible. No notes, no explanation, just: This is what the assignment is, do it.

For example I was forced to do English at school despite sucking at it, so later on in life i chose to do a physics degree to avoid that subject.

Maths for real life rarely relates to maths in the classroom past the most basic stuff. Usually as long as you can divide multiply etc and understand that then you can get by. Hell i just wrote a program to solve the volume of 10 dimensional sphere i really don't see where this would come in useful apart from physics and what not.

Math is pretty fun, Unless you're being "forced" to do which causes it to get tedious. But that can be said for most learning.

Get your diploma and you should still be able to get into a community college. My math grades throughout high school sucked ass. I even failed freshman algebra. If you really want to succeed nothing is impossible, just deal with it and get to college.

While I can relate to the whole bad teacher thing, I've always had a knack for picking information up verbally on the first or second pass, so I can't say I've ever had this problem. You should go to your head of department if you are that pissed about it, I once flipped at my Biology teacher, calling him an idiot in front of the class, nothing cam of it, he still insists on teaching us through the same bullshit methods which clearly don't work, seeing as our year group's end of year grades last year were the worst on record. for the school.
