MGMT (new album new sound from an intresting band)

MGMT New album called "Congratulations" indeed has a new sound that i like. The first of there albums was imature but some songs were great from their old album. The band has really matured in this new album having a mix of the beach boys and the beatles in there sound.

They still have lots of drugs songs, the very first song from he album call "Its Working" is about taking ecstacy (a drug that makes you very happy apperantly)

there are still some songs a dont like but it a great album and i like were hier going, so i have very good exspenctations for the next album

I like Congratulations, but Oracular Spectacular is still my favorite. "Weekend Wars", "Of Moons, Birds & Monsters" and "The Handshake" are incredible. I really like the first half of Congratulations but the second half not so much, at the moment.

I prefer the psychadelicallyishness on Congratulations more so than the pop-ish sound on Oracular Spectacular. The second half of Oracular Spectacular is mind-blowing.

It's not that much of a new sound, it's just a further development away from the likes of Kids, Time to Pretend, etc.

I love this album, though. There's so many good songs on it. Siberian Breaks is probably the best song they've ever done in my opinion.

Their new album wasn't really fit for my tastes, but kudos to them for exploring new sounds.

wel my favorite song from this album is flash delirium and plus im not a big fan of pop so there next album will be good
