Nobody, but nobody, has the right to decide on certain aspects of peoples' lives, sexuality is one of them. If you can't accept people because of their sexual orientation, keep it to yourself and at least try to be civil to them in public. Some of my best bros online were gay, bi, or lesbian, yet it made no difference to me. They were just overall cool to hang out with. Everybody's got the right to live as they like, but meaningless hate = nope.

gay conversation therapy is basically just emotional and psychological abuse, unless it's one of those camps then it's also physical and often sexual abuse. it should not only be illegal but as a previous poster said attempting it should be something child protection services get involved over

I do remember previous testimonies from those who went through those 'gay conversion therapy' programs were fairly ridiculous. One individual was instructed to put oranges in his underwear, to squeeze them, and then told they were his balls.

The child's pursuit of happiness was obviously overlooked by these parents, if they are somehow 'true Americans' they'd recognize that.

I always find these people interesting. Never in the history of ever has gay conversion therapy been proven to actually work. Yet they are mad that they aren't allowed to throw money at bunk science in the hopes that their son won't be gay anymore. Its just something I will never be able to understand.
