Hi all,
I think I've created something that you guys can use on this forum.
When I'm starting to listen to a new band one of the things I like to do is go to the band's last fm page and listen to their most popular songs. I like to do this because if I listen to the bands most popular songs I can usually determine if I'm going to like the band overall or not.
It can be a real pain to do this because last fm does not allow you to listen to the music on the page, so I made an app. This site was done in ruby on rails.

I would love to hear your feedback about any aspects of the site and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them as best as I can.
Also, I'm trying to get the word out as much as possible about the site so if you like it please tell all your friends!
oh, and I noticed from my analytics that most people that visit don't actually try it out. Maybe they don't know what they want to listen to? I'm not sure.

I typed in "Iron Maiden ?" and it gave me Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, Judas Priest and some hip-hop group from the US
yea the ? can be kind of buggy... it's something that def. needs more work

considering the fact its powered by last.fm that's probably why. last.fm does bullshit to me like that all the time whenever I use its radio feature

Wow, I typed in all the bands I liked and they all got a pretty shitty playlist. Most of the artist's playlist's are mostly made up of their singles.

It sorts the playlist with their most popular songs according to lastfm at the top. what bands were you searching for?
