Sam Hyde has obvious reasons for supporting Trump. Calling him politically retarded just makes you sound like the same butthurt liberal as everyone else. All his social commentary that is actually through text is sometimes highlighted in his videos in very large TL'DRs of text in flashes of like a few frames. And they show more or less in general his reasoning and views on today's American society.
Trump isn't the most amazing person in the world, but I can understand his reasons for supporting him and I enjoy the fact that someone is actually lampooning Bernie supporters in a intelligent way because there are always two sides of a coin.

I like to act silly all the time too, at least, much of the time. Not in the same way though. It's not really a matter of being a living joke, but more how he acts (joking around etc). Friends you make adapt to how you act and act similarly in a mutual way, and act serious when you need to be serious.
Sam Hyde's friends would easily understand how he talks and communicates after knowing him for long enough.
