I never spanked, just yelled at, guilt tripped and had my privileges removed. And I think I turned out ok. I wasn't fuckin spoiled, that for sure. I think thats what turns kids into brats. Getting too much of what they want. When I have kids I sure as hell won't spank them or beat them. But I also wont buy him the xbox 1080 when it comes out. I'll make him save up the money for it and THEN buy it for him.

I'd actually rather get a pretty fair belt for doing something CLEARLY not told to, just one swift, easy, painful whipping, over things that rather than just some mindless bitch fest over one small thing.
