I'm kind of split on this. Sean Connery was classy as fuck as Bond, but Casino Royale is my favorite and Craig is really good.

I think for the Grittier direction James Bond is going, Daniel Craig is perfect.
But Sean Connery is still the top dog overall.
After quantum of solace I'm not trusting another Craig movie. I'll probably rent this once its gone to DVD, but I'm not seeing it in theaters unless there are some REALLY good reviews.
He's a fucking fantastic bond, he's also sexy and suave as fuck.
I loved the other 2 Craig films and I'm optimistic about this one.

I like Craig as Bond because its much closer to how he was presented in the books. The first sentence in Casino Royale describes Bond standing in a dark corner of the casino fininshing his 50th cigarette.
Sean Connery was also good, in that he captured how much of a bell-end Bond was.

I like Craig but I'd say Connery Brosnan and Moore are the best.
I hope this one is visceral like the first Craig film, where you could feel every single blow. It's a great new performance for bond, and while I love Connery, his performance has been copied by or influenced every single Bond that came after him, and I think we can all agree that Connery did that type of Bond best. Craig's Bond feels more human and vulnerable than the other Bonds since he makes mistakes and only by his own grit does he get out of the situations, as opposed to, say, Pierce Brosnan, whom always had an impossibly specialized gadget to get him out (and don't get me wrong, that's why I loved most old interpretations of Bond but it doesn't fit with a more serious Bond). I thought the Quantum of Solace was actually a bit of a step backwards for the reboot, the stakes felt lower, bond seemed to shrug off everything thrown at him (looking at you breaking through the glass roof of a building and scaffolding and walking away), and the villain just wasn't very memorable. That being said, I liked the fact that he didn't fuck the girl in that one, it just didn't seem appropriate and it really shows how different Craig's Bond is to the other Bonds. This trailer... it feels a bit like it's going to be more explosiony, but that might just be the cut of this teaser. I have high hopes but mediocre expectations.

I miss when Bond was Bond with gadgets and his Aston wasn't destroyed in the first scene. Craig's Bond needs more class like the others (it's not his fault, I blame the writing).
