Honestly one of the reasons why I have never and will never buy a used smartphone, unless it's from a friend or relative
Imagine law enforcement using this. Like just letting hundreds or thousands of phones get "stolen" and tracked. Leave them in circulation for a few years, how many criminals could you net? Or maybe it's already being done and we just don't know about it.
