I was wondering if there is a way to have cats aloud in my room without trying to eat my guinea pigs.
I like having my Guinea pigs inside.
And when my room is really hot. I have my door open. Which is fine. But i have to keep an eye out for cats.
Also if this is a wrong section for this thread please move it.
How the hell is there bad spelling? No mistakes.
Just keep them in a cage maybe?
My cats? No. I love my cats and it's been awhile since they been in my room.
If you're talking about my Guinea pigs then they already are in one.
Then there's no problem? Unless your cat is a giant, super cat, I wouldn't worry, the worst they'll do is sit there and stare at them
Put the cat in the cage with the guinea pigs, they'll bond :3:
Male's are fighter's. Girl's are defenders. Male = Mmmm Guinea pigs. Girl = Umm no i am not eating that.
Lol, well is the cage made with a tight enough mesh to prevent the cats' paws can't get through? That should solve the problem, unless the cats actually bash on the cage. If that's the case, get a squirt bottle and spray your cats with it when they try and harass your pigz.
It's a wooden cage. They have a wire thingy at the front of their cage.
They'll get along eventually.
Just let the cat roam around them and stuff but don't let them attack them of some sort.
It'll happen with time but your guinea pig has to take the sacrifice.
Yeah, they'll get along eventually. I've got two dogs, they get along fine with my 5 cats.
Those 5 cats get along fine with my Parrot and rabbit.
Just need to let them be around each other for as long as you can manage, and if they do seem far too interested in them, let them know that it's bad (shout or hiss or whatever).

Yeh, They'll learn.. I have 5 Cats and a guinea pig, They wont do shit to him, bottle o' water for the win..
they'll get used to eachother
my dog gets along with my hamster fine (she only sniffs him)
Guinea pigs are really too big for cats to bother with, unless you're starving them to death they generally won't attack anything that big, and if they do and the guinea pig fights back they'll probably back off. But since they're in a cage there's no risk at all, the cats can't even reach them. Sometimes my neighbor has guinea pigs out in a cage in the garden, all cats do is occasionally sit beside the cage and watch them moving around.
This thread is kind of weird. :v:

But; cages = cats - guinea pig.
spray the cat in the face with water when it does something you don't want it to do

Yeah, like eating your guinea pigs.
just out of curiosity, what was the thinking when you decided to get guinea pigs knowing that you had cats (or vice versa, if that was the case)? didn't you anticipate problems, as a responsible pet owner?
I honestly thought you meant cat + guinea pig = help as in you where trying to interbreed or some shit
Teach the GPigs kung fu.
But in realalitiy they cage should be enough

Also the guinea pigs are babies. Only a couple of months old.

Make more of them.
Just get a screen door thing for your cats. And why don't you just get a fan?
So what kind of help will I be getting from adding a cat with a guinea pig?
Make more of them.
2 females no boys.
This thread disappointed me. I demand Guinea Cats.
If it's no problem can you take a picture of the guinea pig
Why?
Just use common sense and only have the door open when you're in the room.
Or use even more common sense and open the window instead.
I still don't see what the problem is if they're in a cage. If it's open top then build a top for it.
Cook em up and feed em to the piggys.
That'l give them the lust and you wil never have to worry about cats killing piggy's again, you will worry about piggy's killing cats.
