COD4 and MW2 are so over hyped and over paid to be said to be good that people are stupid enough to believe it.
I doubt it will only last a week. If it is even half as good as Modern Warfare it will last for a good long time. I do however doubt that it will be as good as the first Modern Warfare. Fortunately for Infinity Ward they have the fanboy factor going for them.
It looks boring, I don't plan on buying it.
My friend Danny is peeing himself about it, and he rips on me because i'd rather play borderlands.

No, COD 4 wasn't over hyped, it was an extremely fun game to play.
I'm not exactly overhyping it, but i'm anticipating it. It's extreme generic fun in a new package, that's enough to warrant 60 dollars.

The realism isn't what bothers me, it's just... What's special about it? There is nothing cool about it that i can't do in games like killzone 2, borderlands, or even tf2...

Nothing I can't do in Killzone 1 or Team Fortress Classic.
I think I'll preorder it tomorrow. I'll probably regret it though. Then again, I loved the CoD4's singleplayer.
I always thought COD was inferior to other games.
It's just COD is mainstream and you don't feel like a nerd playing it.
