I corrupt a lot of stuff with my little brother when I've got my laptop with no internet around town, so I did a second compilation video and might just keep making them if people like it enough. (the first one is here)
What I used:
I've been using the Vinesauce ROM Corrupter since I saw Vinny's Sesame Street Corruptions video, and that's what I'm using here. If you want to learn more about that, take a look at the thread.
List of video games (in order):
Super Mario Bros. (featuring mostly gameplay corruptions)
Super Mario Bros. 2 (sadly, mostly graphics corruptions)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (both)
Mario Bros. (briefly for both)
Let me know what you think!
UPDATE: New, from BANDAI:

Video is private :v:
Should be fixed! Thanks for pointing that out.
Note to self: to survive, don't jump through the world to Australia.
Buddy, when you make it out in the real world, you're gonna realize how damn important it is to check your collision detections.
That was great, whats the song name at 50 secs

I have a hard time corrupting Super Nintendo titles, but I do fine with most NES titles.
There are sweet spots for several "types" of corruption, from what I've found. It seems that everything gameplay related is near the front, music is near the middle, and graphics can be both at the front or at the end. You're supposed to start with a small range, maybe 500 bytes apart, the shift up to 1000. You do the same thing with the amount of bytes you corrupt as well. A lot of it is seriously guessing and trial-and-error though, as you can be one byte off from something hilarious.
If you want, I can send you a .txt file compatible with Vinesauce's corrupter that has one set of settings. I found a sweet spot in Super Mario Bros 3, where small changes produce absolutely insane results. If you do so much as add or subtract one byte from the "Add to byte" or "Corrupt every nth bytes", you get crazy, different results.

Yes please
Turns out the text file saved the wrong text boxes. I'll whip up something for you in a little bit.

I took five minutes and got some weird results:

It looks like this will do two things:
1. Bumping blocks will make the level end and allow you to proceed to the next level.
2. Reaching the end of a level will make Mario's controls absolutely haphazard.

Reminds me of this
At 2 minutes in SMB2 looks like Atari 2600 Adventure lol
So when Mario eats a mushroom, he gets really high. Is that what this game is telling little kids?

Hey, this thread is old but I don't see a point in creating a new thread when I can just update this:
