Oh wow I remember watching a couple of xjawz videos back when I played Black Ops. I had no idea his life fell apart.
Wow, that was a good video. Pretty insightful, and also a good mindset. It's better to just try to leave a positive impact than a huge impact.

This story is probably going to repeat itself quite a bit in the "prank" community. Still, not forgiving the guy for something like that after so many years is kinda silly in my view.
Grown adults can rarely handle it when they suddenly come into a large amount of money, it's hardly surprising a teenager couldn't handle it.
Grown adults can rarely handle it when they suddenly come into a large amount of money, it's hardly surprising a teenager couldn't handle it.
That's because most of the grown adults today come from an age where hard ballbreaking work equals "just enough pay" while the boss and VP's drive around with one of their Porsches. Seeing some snotty brat put in next to no hard work (wow you play a video game and commentate on it) and reach the very same level of wealth their own boss has will make you angry beyond disbelief. And at this point in my life, I can very much agree with that notion. But as this video points out, sudden wealth on a young person with next to no life experience is a recipe for disaster. So it evens out I guess. :v:

Holy fuck I remember that Funny Care Package Kill. I didnt know it was made by KSI though...
Huh. It's interesting to think about how many channels have actually died out there. I doubt many of them passed 10,000 subscribers but how many of them actually provided some sort of entertainment to their audiences? Perhaps it was actually good entertainment that just never truly left the ground with others? It's channels like this and even more so this that make me wonder about this. In fact this brings up another question. What's out there that someone enjoyed and others probably would enjoy, but has never left the ground? Is there a game like that, stuck on a couple floppy disks? Maybe a well directed and edited short film made by some college students? Or how about a book that never got to publishers? A website that never got any visitors? Who knows? No one ever will anymore

Hard work and commitment matters more than anything, at the end of the day the best thing you can say before you die is you worked your hardest to achieve your goals as a human being. But the element of popularity and financial success isn't just dependent on hard work alone, one of the major factors is just being the right guy at the right place at the right time. No matter how much you want people to notice you, the likelihood of ever being picked out from millions and millions of other people is so slim, even if you are good. I guess it all just depends on what you are talking about as well. I don't really feel sad about it, it's just a fact of life. We aren't all equals and we don't all roll the same numbers on the dice.

Well he just jumped in on the YT scene at a good point and kept going with it, loads of people and i can bet also lots of Facepunchers also started a youtube channel or a Twitch channel with the purpose of perhaps finding that goldmine and also live the dream of making videos and earning a shitload of money. Sure sounds like fun to me and i am guilty of both starting a YT and Twitch channel with the intention of perhaps becoming successful but after uploading 10-20 videos in which i put a fuckload of effort in i stopped doing it after reaching just about 100-200 views. The issue was that my channel is just one of the 10000+ other channels who are doing the same and honestly mine was not anything special. Though with my drvagax channel i still earn 70 to 100 dollar per 3-4 months which is still free money :v:
