• I just found out that Twlight is a required book for a class at my college

So today I went to the book store to get some books for my classes, and I saw the Twilight books sitting in that section. No, it wasn't in the "best sellers" section or some shit like that. It was located in the section where all the textbooks are located, the books that you actually need to buy for a class. I saw the books and I was like "Seriously?" EDIT: To clear things up, I'm not taking this class myself. It is a required text for a class at my college, but I'm not taking that class.
No you didn't stop lying
It was probably a mistake.

unless you go to the University of Downs
What? That sounds perfectly logical, They'll give you something classic, Like 'Of Men and Mice' then they'll put it next to twilight, to better show how to write a good, timeless book.
I could understand it being an assignment for a book to read, but not a necessity like a textbook. So it probably was in the wrong section.
1. Buy book 2. Throw book at professer
I went to Barnes & nobles and put the twilight books in the "Disease" section. Also my brother put the bibles in "True Crime".
No you didn't

You poor man
Which class? Please tell me it's not for English. How can Twilight even be considered decent literature?
It's a writing class. This is the BAD example. Its like that unnamed student paper that is so bad that the teacher uses it to avoid future train-wrecks like those.

It's a seminar, one of those classes that focuses on a single subject, such as a certain person, event, book, issue, etc. It just so happens that Twilight's the focus of this particular class.
Stop being so immature and just read it.

OP has a raging homosexual love for twilight.
So why of all classes would you pick one about Twilight?
I never said I picked it. I registered for my classes long before I know such a class existed. It is a required text for a class at my college, but I'm not taking that class.
Read it and see if you like it or not.
"What not to read" Section
Stop being so immature and just read it.
I don't understand why the professor would take such a poorly written pop-culture book and use it for their class. Unless the course is about popular literature there are plenty of better books out there.
What? Pretty easy. How to make a teen age girl fad class.
Don't read it just Try to watch the movie
Y'know the book is probably higher quality than the movie
Except Mice and Men was a good book, not a bunch of excrement smeared all over a piece of paper.
I think you've misunderstood entirely. Of Mice and Men as an example of a good classic, Twilight as an example of the exact opposite. To be read together and compared. Doubt that's the case though, unfortunately.
Except Mice and Men was a good book, not a bunch of excrement smeared all over a piece of paper.
I didn't think it was that great, but it was short, which was a good thing
I have wondered if it was an ok book, it can't be too horrible if it's so popular, you guys are just jumping on the bandwagon. This is a logical opinion so think what you want.
