You're all saying who is this shit? What is he doing? Well I've been here since 2005 when the forums first started. I made this account to ask questions on how to make a "mingebot" back in 2007 when I played GMod avidly. Spent 10 bucks when GMod 10 came out and clocked in 2000+ hours on it. But over time I grew attached to the people of the forum. I play a lot of video games, I won't lie. My social life is sending someone a game invite and waiting for them to respond, and on Facepunch I felt like I belonged somewhere, I belonged to a community. Back way when Postal showed his glorious ass all over Facepunch and people whored ratings I thought Facepunch was pretty swell. I used to check my contraption posts every few hours or so, and chatted in the General Discussion.
The recent events have opened my eyes. Our community has really degraded than what it was in the past. Some nice new changes have taken place but other not so nice have made me sad. I witnessed the Pr3dator ban spree and I thought Facepunch wouldn't fuck up as hard again. In the past week, I have seen more Mods banned than shitposters in a banme. I look up to Mods, that's why they're Mods right? Some Mods I agree are/were shit, SilverHammer and Benji are my two least favorite. I don't post much on Facepunch but I sure am active. Anyways with all the banning and Garry stating that "The People" don't have rights I feel I can longer participate in something of which I am to have no meaning. I joined Facepunch to be a part of something, but hearing that from the owner makes me sort of sad.
But like Garry stated, this is his forum. This is Garry's massive cock for him to wave around and make some profit. I most likely will be banned for this post, for this line, for predicting moderation, but frankly I don't care. Garry has a massive ego, and he won't let anyone, not you or me bash it. This can clearly be seen from his demoddings and permabannings. Some of his actions I agree are irrational, and others I agree with deep down inside. He's a nice guy, kept this nice community up for quite a while. 6 years. But Garry, you don't seem as if you're very engaged in what's going on around Facepunch. I'm sure you're a super cool guy always busy with your 10 sluts or whatever, and I'm sure you check on us from time to time but you don't really do anything for the community except allow for there to be one. I suggest you either reinstate Hezzy, which I doubt for I'm guessing you're not willing to apologize (which is fine, your forums your rules) or promote someone else to do so.
I guess that's all I have to say, this is an internet forum, and there is drama. Not really anything to go crazy about, but still this is a community whether it is tangible or not. Excuse my horrendous grammar and spelling, I am an American. I agree this is stupid, but whatever I'm a pretty dumb guy.
