This is UNFINISHED! I just wanna get some CC before I go any further. It's my best attempt at a progressive electro-house song. I've been listening to it for so long that it's extremely hard for me to determine how good it sounds now.
The intro is way too long and boring. Some variance would be nice. The drop is pretty weak. It needs more bass and the kick and clap should cut through more, while the percussion should be a bit more in the background. I like the synths though, and overall it sounds pretty nice.
The intro pad should come in wayyyy earlier. And pretty much what Croix said, I really like this idea.
I'm hesitant to actually shorten the intro, since I like having a long intro to make the drop seem more powerful, so what if I added something else to the intro to make it more interesting? I was thinking of doing this anyway. And yeah, I'll definitely make the drop more meaty, and I know exactly why it isn't.
The intro is about right length for me. The intro pad reminds me alot of Deadmau5's strobe. The drop really needs to be more BOOM IT STARTS HERE MOTHERFUCKER and it sounds kinda thin because it lacks a good bass. But mostly, I like.
Yeah I drew a lot of inspiration from some deadmau5 stuff. I think I have the perfect thing in mind for the drop...

Shorten intro by 16
You don't have to shorten it, just bring in more elements quicker.
But then it will be even more repetitive, since once I bring everything in, I'll have nowhere else to go from there. That's why I think it'd be better to just add more little details.
I like it, but they're right that it seems really long. Also, the beat here isn't very strong, if you really separate the actual 2 and 4 from the lead up notes it could be a lot stronger. Either way it's great background music (for a video/game or etc), but I don't think there's enough variance to be piece of music intended for listening to by itself. It's really good though, don't get me wrong.
if you put a drum with the snare it'd be good, electro house isn't good when it's drum. snare. drum. snare. it should be drum drum+snare, drum drum+snare. you drum has like no kick! try putting a limiter
Have something new start at about 20 seconds in.

I would never just have just drum, snare, drum, snare. It probably doesn't sound like it because, as people have said, there's not enough kick.
Seems really bland to me. Some cool different sounds would be awesome if you would add them here and there. It is the universe, where are the asteroids? the stars?

What do you mean by drum? There are many varieties of drums, a snare being one of them. B. I'm pretty sure that's an opinion, and it's a little much to say that electro house isn't "good" because of one less "drum" in the measure. C. What do you mean by "drum drum+snare", there are hundreds of ways to interpret that, seeing as you give no reference to the actual length of the notes. Don't take my tone as harsh, I'm not trying to be mean but I don't know how else to type it.

I just need to give the drums more presence. I need to fix everything, really.

Anyways in my opinion each would create it's own effect and it's up to you to choose which one you like more, it's not really a right or wrong thing the way I see it. Looking forward to what you do with it as always.
It takes a very special kind of song to really pull off a 4/4 beat with that second format. Generally, it just sounds awkward and empty. I have heard songs that pull it off, though. I don't know, I might abandon this project. It's a little bit fundamentally flawed, and was just good practice at best.

When playing drums I'll agree I have noticed it's hard to transition in and out of that pattern without taking away some of the thickness of the beat. And although I'd love to hear the piece completed, as long as you're still making awesome music in some way shape or form I'm happy.
