Sleep is Death - General - Facepunch Forum

Something I thought some of you might be interested in. Basically, Sleep is Death is this neat storytelling game for two players. There's two perspectives. Player 1 (Player): From Player 1's view, the game is a sort of point-and-click adventure. The thing is, it's limitless - you can choose to do absolutely anything, and the characters will understand anything you say. You can do whatever you want, explore your surroundings, grab random things to help you later and solve problems in absolutely any viable way. So how does it work? This is where Player 2 comes in. Player 2 (Controller): Player 2's job is to control the story, moving characters, creating events and controlling dialogue. Using an easy-to-learn interface, Player 2 can completely manipulate the game to create a rich story - or just be a bastard. Games can range from humorous to serious to plain epic. Now, you're probably wondering why I'm posting it here instead of in GGD. It's already there, and I wanted to stir up some interest. The thing is, here's the perfect place, because we're severely lacking in good content. You can import custom sprites and such, and this place is full of excellent spriters, certainly more so than most of the current content creators. It's also very similar to IPWs, except the player really has control and it's much quicker. There's an interface so turns can be completed in 30 seconds - and the results can easily be posted on a forum thanks the the flipbook feature. I'd love to see you guys contribute, and the best part is, right now there's a "pay what you want" sale. You can pay anything from a minimum of $1.75 (the game is usually $14) and you get two copies, one for a you and one for a friend. (Really, you could give the same code to as many as you like but don't be a dick) I'd love to play some games with FPPWers, mabye we can even become a major part of the SiD community. Most of all I'd just like to play a game with amazing sprites which involves fighting the Squishlings or other prominent FPPW armies. Enjoy!

I think you can use PayPal to pay, that's safe. And why would getting RDR matter? Right now you can get it for $1.75.
