This is probably in the wrong section but I figured if I need answers the good people in GD are the ones to ask.
So...there's a guy in work I get on with very well. We are both in our mid - late 20s. We work very well together and have a laugh. Hes married by the way so anything more than that is a no no plus I'm in a very loving committed relationship myself.
However, he stares at my chest alot...Its not all the time but its quite frequently. It goes to the point where I know hes doing it and I look up and catch him and he knows I catch him and he quickly removes his eyes and looks away and there's like a milli-moment of silence before we start talking again. But its really embarrassing for both me and him.
Ive noted not to wearing clingy tops and low cut stuff and he still does it.
Seriously, what do I do? I mean do I just say it to him or make a joke outta it or ask him nicely to stop?
Ok its nice to be admired or feel a suggestion that someone might like the shape of my body or my looks but this is a bit...I dunno...uncomfortable.
Can you tell me whats going on in his head, I mean he has a wife with a pair of her own? Why look at mine? Why put us both in the situation of being really embarrassed?

Because men like tits.
Just get it over with and show him your tits, I'm sure he will stop then.
:sonia:
stop doing that.
It is perfectly natrual for a man to stare at tits.
Men like boobies, that's all there is to it. He probably doesn't even realize he's doing it until it's too late, it's a subconcious thing.. For me anyway.
Boobies! :D
because your a naughty naughty whore who should be stripped down and spanked.
and while at it show us all your tits.
Show us yours and we may be able to tell you why.
you're not a girl

if only girls understood that :frown:

Same logic as women window shopping.
Maybe he keeps forgetting your name and checks your name tag every now and again?
:v:
I think men stare at breasts because all breasts are different. It's part of our sexual make up. Even though his wife has a pair, yours are different and there is a curiosity thing. He seems pretty obsessed, though.
Me, I love breasts, and some of my best friends have great tits, but you'll never catch me looking at them as I look at their faces.
Now, don't feel defensive when I ask the following questions:
Why do you feel uncomfortable about it? Is it because he's somewhat sleezy? Or is it another way you feel about him?
OR is it about you and how you feel about your body? Do you feel ashamed when he's looking at you?
I only ask this, and I really don't think you need to answer them here on FP, so that you can get to the source of your feelings. As you are aware, some guys are sleezy and sex driven (though nice they might be) and can be really unsettling to have them objectify you. Conversely, there are women out there who are ashamed of their bodies, especially their breasts. There are other women who are proud, and still others who don't really care either way.
Hope this helps.

Yes, it is. The man is objectifying the woman, treating her as a thing rather than a person.
"My eyes are up here"
:v:
Because that's what men do. I've gotten used to it already.
The only time I get freaked out is when it's a man who is way older than me. Like.. a man in his 30s staring at my boobs would creep and weird me out.
Dumb rating makes perfect sense.
Because we're all a bunch of jerk-face perverts.
a man loves dem titties gurl

Women objectify themselves even without men, otherwise you wouldn't find women who spend tons on whatever the seasons supposed fashion is or whatever.

True.
What the poster way up there said. Show him your tits and then he won't have anything to look forward to because he will never have them.
Get out of here troll, you're not a girl.
What, sounds like I prick, I never stare at a woman's chest unless she is wearing some really low cut top that is kind of shocking.

"But your breasts down there are much better to look at"

So why does your profile say you're 16? I mean, a younger person pretending to be older is natural. But older pretending to be younger... creepy.
Do the same with his dick
I'd be horrified if I were confronted over that.
Just distance yourself from the dude as much as possible if it bothers you so much.

Women telling you their age is pretty much comparable to Valve Time.
Also get a tshirt that says on the chest "If you can read this, look the fuck up."
So tempted to move this to Love Advice
