The Ankara government in its deal with the Islamic State militants, may have reportedly set free at least 180 ISIS terrorists, including two British jihadists.
Since the release of the 49 hostages from the Turkish embassy in Mosul, there have been fears that Turkey may have struck a damaging deal with ISIS.
I'm okay with this, it's their people, it's their call.
Each country has to decide these things for themselves. It puts their people in harm's way, since now everyone will know you can extort from Turkey if you have some of their people as hostages, but that's their business.
I hope this establishes a nice precedent that says that a life of one turk is worth more than life of three ISIS members
Yeah, saving 49 people from getting beheaded , what a "damaging deal".
It implies that around 180 terrorists are now running free to murder and take hostage more people.
49 people saved from brutal death are worth the risk though. And those terrorists are going to get bombs on their heads sooner or later anyway.
Should have bombed them as soon as they got their people to safety.

And lose any hope of making any hostage deal ever again...

Yeah, and say goodbye to any future hostage trades or any hope of diplomacy at all, because they're not stupid and they know you'll just bomb them at the peace talks.
I guess that's bad news for Kobane - for now.
