Mostly nitpicks this one. I've never had these problems. Though I usually know what I want before I buy it, plus primes free shipping. Still funny tho
The search on Amazon for used items is hilariously terrible. Even if you specifically hit the button to only search Used items it will still operate by what the price new is.
Main problem with Amazon is that I can't figure out what their deal is with shipping. They never list whether or not an item will ship to me, and the only way to figure it out is by actually attempting to buy it and going through the entire checkout process. Only then will it tell you "nope you can't have that" Why not just list it on the item page like eBay?

For some reason if you're in the US it will filter out anything sold from the UK or other places, even when the item has shipping to the US as an option. This same filter affects Google too, so if you're looking for an item that's sold from the UK but not in the US, you won't know about it until you go to the UK site.

The problem with this is that most UK sellers won't ship in the US and have to say in their description that they won't. It's the weirdest thing.
Why I hate Amazon: It won't ship here
I agree with the postage/shipping fully, there have been times where I've spend something like 2 hours even browsing some sites that have cool stuff on them and while I am adding last payment information on it and it then tells me about the magical price that I have to pay that is twice as much that the stuff I would have bought would have cost.
Amazon's search for computer components compared to Newegg's is an absolute joke.
Do some sellers just list an ultra-low price to get to the top of a search and then just charge the rest in shipping, or is that even possible as an Amazon seller?
Amazon's search for computer components compared to Newegg's is an absolute joke.
In all fairness, you can't expect a general purpose store to have the same level of refined search as a specialized one. Plus, its not like I don't have pet peeves with newegg either. Want a wide range of components, but DEFINITELY don't want some? Guess what, you have to click everything. No drag to select a bunch of stuff. Also, I just search using pcpartpicker unless it's something very specific that I know wont be listed there.
