I had homework tonight and I thought I might share it with you all. I designed a logo for this company: http://www.sweetovations.com/ My Idea for a Logo (56k users, don't say I didn't warn you.) http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/6605/sweetovations.jpg I used the pen tool to trace around a picture of an orange slice, duped two more and recolored them into Lemon, Orange, and Lime. I used the Inner Shadow for all three slices. For the Name font I used "Fertigo Pro" and spaced the letters a little. C+C is appreciated. - Paul :)
Don't use gradients to that degree, nor that kind of obvious drop shadow either. For the text, do something a bit more simple and stylish, don't use a cluserfuck of colors, keep it at max one color per word. As for the orange slices, they are very edgy, try again, and I'd rather only have one a bit smaller "slice" to the left of the text, having them as big as you did only makes it look stupid. just an example of how in my eyes it would look a lot better but try to not to use any shadow on the "slice", because it will look dumb due to not being a correct shadow

I know, I can't even make a nice and simple logo :smith:
