Mmh ... I didn't play any of them but from what I can see Open Outcast looks like the winner to me. The Call of the Fireflies looks great but the Engine does the job and the used content looks like from the game (so does the snowy setting). Open Outcast instead replaced everything and delivers a whole new feeling.
Anyway, that's just a quick trivial judgement.
I wouldn't call Nightmare House 2 very innovative. It was very good but besides being much scarier than Half Life 2, the general gameplay was pretty similar.

I thought it was "Best original art"
Halfquake Sunrise should have won.
Halfquake Sunrise was amazingly fun, and kind of hard at some parts.
I tried playing the 2nd in the series and I really didn't like it as much as the 3rd.
Those two Crysis mods make me want Crysis
Doubt my computer could handle it though.

I don't know why they still call the category Best Orignal Art, when really it should be called "Best Visual/Art Direction", in which case I could agree with CotFF winning (and it seems to be how they determine it too).

Well that's weird, site says art but news post says most innovative
I don't know why Nightmare House 2 was in there. There were some scenes that seemed to be lifted straight from FEAR. Really the only cool and original part I remember was [sp]running around in the dark room the became increasingly smaller as time went on[/sp], but that's not enough for innovation. It was still a great play though.
