Oh yeah, that's right. Newbie photoshopping time. It's my first PS, so I need CC.
Cute.

also cc, use layers.
Layers is definitely something I'm looking at. Thanks :buddy:
Sloppy
This isn't really a "Photoshop", using it as a verb (ie, I photoshopped the photo).
It's a picture you painted using the paintbrush in Photoshop. And if you can't draw, photoshop isn't a miracle program that will turn scribbles into masterpieces. I can't draw.
However, if you want to learn how to use photoshop, go through some of the tutorials here

Some pretty decent effects and things in there you can use to learn how different tools work.
I've never been a fan of PS tutorials. I've always looked at it like "Just toy around and find out how YOU like to do things". I understand it's not great, nor did I expect it to be. I just enjoy making little pictures based off of game :buddy:
Hrrm~ I think the general reaction you're going to get is negative. Not because this is bad, let me say, but just because you're starting out.
I also have the mentality you do, where I just toy around. The important thing to remember though, is that when you're first learning a program, you generally shouldn't post what you make. Since you're just learning about how to work it, you're not quite yet focused solely on the art. It's harder to critique this way.
However, you've got cute faces, and if you keep working at it, you should do great. Can't wait to see more of your work come about in the future. :)
Thanks!
And to say you like to figure it out how to do it yourself seems pointlessly proud; if there's a specific effect you want, for instance how to make a photo look like it's raining, it will take years for you to just tinker around and "find out" how to make rain. Tutorials are extremely useful.

I meant it in more of a sense of "Find out how I like to draw".
Then why did you "buy" photoshop. Surely your money would have been better spent on an actual drawing tool, like a graphics tablet? Photoshop isn't for drawing. You could have purchased Painter for less, or even ArtRage is a better drawing tool than Photoshop, for what you are doing.
Too bad nearly 90% of artists use Photoshop.

Either way it's a good idea to start with pencil and paper.
Creeper looks majestic.

I draw with pencil and paper a lot. I posted some of my work when the labs was still up. I got artistic ratings everywhere. And to me "Wasting money" on "buying" Photoshop, I have no issue in using up all that "money". CS5 Extended Edition is great :buddy:

I had to bait it with sandwiches made of Obsidian and Diamond.
I like it :unsmith:

I get what you mean to say here, but that's a pretty dumb mentality.
You are saying you want to be able to do the things you like, how you like it. By not knowing how Photoshops, you are limiting yourself and the ability to do the things you want to do.
Learn the tools first, then try to make the best creation mankind has ever faced
I like the picture, it's adorable.
