so I've got pc helicopter, practiced it and got kinda good, so i use it outside, hits something, and i find out when i try to make it fly, i hear this weird grinding-like sound and the thing goes spinning crazily. after opening it up, i see that the bottom wing is the problem the white gear to the right, is what i think the problem is, because when I pull the green gear up so that it doesn't touch the small white gear, it turns fine, but when its touching it, it has a bit of friction, but with the other wing, even when the green gear touches the white gear, you can turn it smoothly with no friction Any ideas?
Those things are incredibly fragile, most people who own model shops tell people to use practice ones before dropping more than 100 bucks on one because they break if they hit anything. You're probably SOL guy.
I bought one for 20 bucks then 15 minutes later the thing fucking broke. I wish I got something on steam, or some fucking candy or fucking shoved it up my ass! Or at least did something useful with the cash
Oh no!!! not an RC helicopter!
shitballs, my dads going to be pissed when he finds out, any excuses I can use?
You had no idea what you were doing?
You had no idea what you were doing?
yes, i had an idea of what i was doing but seeing as i wa used to a small roon, and open envoirment+ some wind= broken RC helicopter I've opened it more and it turns out the green gears control each wing, and those work fine, but what i think the problem is, is the motar moving the white gear what moves the green gear, that moves the bottom wing, the silver thing is the casing of the motar

piece of chipped plastic is jamming a gear i expect. if you shake it does it rattle?
piece of chipped plastic is jamming a gear i expect. if you shake it does it rattle?
I don;t think that thats the problem, the gears seem to be clear of any foreign objects, and how could something get inside the mortar's silver casing?
