Here's the current design I'm working on for my site: Media'd for size. What do y'all think? C&C would be nice
Looks pretty good. Nice and simplistic. I just don't like the light blue separating line, color seems wrong. Not sure why, maybe it's just me. Have an artistic.
I like it. Nice and simple, I really like the blue.
the fact that its simple makes it cool ^^.
first off, it's waaaay too wide. keep it to like 960px at max. fluid layouts can work but if it's a single-column layout I would strongly advise against it, it really strains the eyes the color scheme is alright though the blues are a bit yellow on my monitor (calibrated IPS), maybe you were shooting for that, I dunno, but I would introduce more contrast into it, especially with the white text. overall you need a more structured layout, consider making a grid and fitting elements into that. right now everything seems tossed in there. the top-left picture seems out of place. perhaps you could give it a polaroid border and angle it, but as-is it looks bad. your typography in the header is good. your typography for post content is nearly unreadable. I would avoid underlining the post title as well, it just doesn't look good with that font. I would lower the post font size, it looks strange being as big as the <h2> up top describing what you do.

Will change the colour's a little too.
