I saw this trailer in the E3 thread and figured to give it it's own thread.
Also am I the only one with super low expectations for this game?
Meh, I'm kinda looking forward to it anyway. Maybe they can redeem themselves.
I mean I kinda liked shooting the bad guys with the silenced pistol, it was pretty fun to go into the slow motion mode and mess them up.
Can't wait to see scripted bullshit footage

I'm not counting on it. But my popcorn is ready for the bullshit anyway :v:.
It was only a matter of time
to get all preorder bonuses you must buy all 60 different editions of the game!
Here's hoping for low pre-order figures on this one.
I'm actually really curious to see what they'll try to sell as real gameplay in the upcoming full trailer.
It could be a fun game if more effort is put into it and the story. It's a cool premise, and not too far off reality.
Anyone want to have a betting pool for if it still has the trademark Ubisoft climb-this-to-reveal-map formula?
I really liked the first game. I'm excited for the sequel.
ahahahahahahahahahahahaha
not this time ubi.

You poor man.
What a coincidence, I was just watching this

I'm glad this is here to put Ubi's bullshit into perspective as we go into the next E3. You literally can't trust anything you see from them.
I remember how the E3 graphics mod actually made the game run better. Sadly the world still felt a bit empty compared to the demo. Really wish it would work out at least once for them.
So are they just going to pretend that everyone loved Watchdogs? Because a teaser like this implies that OH YOU RECOGNIZE ALL THIS HACKING SHIT GET HYYYYYYYPE, when like... a regular teaser would have been way more interesting, like, why should we care? Show just a tidbit of something interesting
i actually still liked watchdogs despite it not living up to the hype.i'm hoping we can get a AC to AC2 quality jump

No chance, there was no jumping in the game :P
I can understand the visual stuff when it comes with dealing with consoles, and certain gameplay elements (folks in the thread for that video were mentioning the rooftop thing and shooting through the floor would be op as fuck). And I know from word of mouth and personal experience that Rainbow 6 and Black Flag are fun games.
But I draw the line at Watch Dogs and Division. Those two were just egregious. Not just being dull, but dull generic freeroam games.

This is actually a teaser for a teaser coming the 8th- marketing is wild these days. I will say, though, Watch_Dogs did pretty damn well financially, so to them I doubt they care much about how the internet reacted to the game proper.

Watch Dogs sold like hotcakes despite every news site and gaming community decrying it for being shit. You underestimate just how disconnected the majority of the consumer base is from the ultimately niche online communities who scrutinize gaming companies. A vast majority of people just don't care about this stuff. Plenty of them probably liked the game despite it being shit in the eyes of the critical community.
All Ubisoft has to do with this one is make a big marketing push like they did with the last one and it'll be another success, regardless of the game's quality. That isn't to say that it will be bad, but either way it'll probably sell well.

If you right click on the web page and select "view page source" there is a giant fucking trollface in there

That is true. I burn Watch Dogs, but I do kinda wonder if the sequel will surprise us and be vastly superior to the first one somehow.
But then again let's bear in mind, as long as the internet is concerned, expectations, as well as for the general Ubisoft conference, is very very very low this year.
HOLY SHIT GUYS LOOK SOME GUY'S BACKSIDE AND A SMARTPHONE.
I AM SO HYPED I HEADBUTTED MY DOG AND WE BOTH SCREAMED.
Expect a severe downgrade in graphics from the trailer to the actual game and removing like 50% of the NPCs from the game world
Ubi games always go from beautiful, compelling and wonderfully alive when their scripted trailers are presented at E3 to washed out, ugly and dead in the full game. Don't buy into it this time.
Watch_Dogs is actually fun and enjoyable if you go in expecting absolute dogshit and got the game for free.
I don't think I'll get this one free from a box full of soon to expire nvidia promo codes

Oh right, you're not kidding.
Well that's a good start.
Yeah, not going to be exciting like when Watch_Dogs was first shown at E3 2012.
Ubisoft so rich they don't even give a shit anymore it seems.
Cant wait for people to fall for Ubisofts bullshit yet again and fall into the cycle of saying "HOLY SHIT this is the best looking game ever, this trailer is amazing, GOTY", buying the downgraded and buggy mess of a game on release, and then whining about it online, and saying how they'll never fall for it again.

A good idea of what kind of quality we are to expect from this game.
Only reason i liked Watch_dogs was because i got it for 5$ and it felt like a neat game for about 3-4 days
