Mom Busted Selling 6-Year-Old for Drug Money After Unlikely Hero Turns Her In
The mother who sold her 6-year-old daughter to pedophile drug dealers to get money for drugs won't be doing that again any time soon. Dalina Nicholas has pleaded guilty and she's facing 15 to 30 years in a Florida prison. And it's all thanks to someone rather unexpected.
good on the homeless man, but what the hell is wrong with the mother?
I would give that homeless man a hug.
This man deserves a reward.

You can do terrible shit when you're addicted to nasty stuff.
Well she's not going to have a quiet time in those 30 years. Ironically enough prisoners have standards and often beat on those who abuse children. So yea...have fun with that lady.

And since she wasn't a pedophile herself, it's unlikely that they segregate her from the rest of the inmates like they normally do in most areas.
Or a home.
But lolkork, that reward is a home!
That article was terribly written.
Or a home.
He could live at my house. I have an extra guest room and I really don't mind.
Or a home.
Soloution is simple, let the homeless guy have the womans home for as long as she is in jail.
Damn talk about some really nasty shit that even makes my skin crawl, I am glad that the homeless man had the decency to oust the mother to the police. The guy deserves some place good to live as a reward.
This is why I donate the leftover bread at my work to the homeless shelter every day.
[sp]I work at Panera bread, all those bread and bagels and pastries, they all get thrown out at the end of the night if nobody buys them.[/sp]
The mother traded her child for a singlular bill. 20 bucks is nowhere near the price of your own child. Even though selling your own child is insane in its own right, she got ripped off by a wide margin.
Addiction can make people do crazy things.
I hope whoever's in custody of her child is much better-off as a guardian than her birthmother was.

Does your store allow that? I know a lot don't for really silly reasons.
she would literally hand her child over to dealers so they could have sex with her.
May not be mother of the year...
Nicholas tells the victim to take off her clothes and lay on a mattress in the living room, saw the suspect give Nicholas $20, and then perform oral sex on the victim.
But Business woman of the year?
Does your store allow that? I know a lot don't for really silly reasons.
His store probably has a little leeway with that sort of thing considering all the bread is freshly baked or something.
Only 15-30 for selling children? Sounds rather light.
15-30 years is light ? It's still quite a big part of your life.
Well she did just about commit another human being to a lifetime of torture and possibly a very early death.
It was almost 100% certainly an early death.
That must've been horrible for him to witness.
And I can't help thinking about the bravery it took for this man to speak out
I wouldn't really say that's bravery at all honestly. He had nothing to lose saw something horrible happen and contacted the authorities. It was a wonderful thing he did but i just feel like the media tosses around "bravery" far too much now.

funny enough, on saturdays we go out to get bread from Paneras during closing to give to the local food pantry

Oh my fucking god, what the hell is wrong with this waste of space?
It was almost 100% certainly an early death.
Who knows, the kid could have died within the year, christ.
I don't think longer than 30 years is sensible, though.
That hobo sounds like he has honour and good will; good on him for stopping that unspeakable horror.
I want to slap the homeless guy a high-five and give him a few hundred bucks, give the little girl a hug, and punch the mother in the face with brass knuckles
Soloution is simple, let the homeless guy have the womans home for as long as she is in jail.
He may as well take care of the kid in the mean while.

Usually it is due to write offs, they're not technically just trash. They're still an asset to the company which wants to control it. Normally write offs are destroyed for inventory reasons and accountability issues.
Though some places do allow the food to be written off and then given to someone. One store I worked for created a donation system specifically for that. So we could get credit all the while giving away food items to a food-bank/soup kitchen. It wasn't all a bad deal, it made the process of getting rid of old stuff very fast and you got to do a lot of good work. We donated a lot of stuff, one of the people who picked up the donations thanked me personally for getting more departments in the store on board with the program. He said he never seen so much food form one place before.
