You know this man
you have always known this man
It's a very powerful quote, very powerful.
That was one of the most powerful rebukes of Trump I've seen yet.
Too bad no Trump supporter will likely ever watch this.

Even if they do, this won't change their mind. They know the man, they've always known the man, they've made up their minds. This is more to the people on the edge it seems.
But "Trump would never be able to get his policies through the system. I also completely ignore all the times the President has suspended Constitutional rights." :downs:
Extremely powerful speech. More people need to see this.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
Pence would probably be even worse on the civil rights side of things.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
Then you're either a bigot or completely ignorant of Pence's views.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
thats just idiotic.
eh, a little too melodramatic for my tastes
a little too melodramatic being hilariously over the top melodramatic
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
Pence is batshit crazy too, and that's a pretty high risk gamble.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
On what charge?
I won't know who I'll vote for until I walk into the voting booth, I have no doubt time will slow down for me as my mind splits into a internal battle between casting my discontent as my vote in the form of Gary Johnson, to tell the GOP they could've had my vote if they actually tried to stop Donald Trump.
Then there is the side of me who understands the hypocrisy in Trumps supporters, the people who hate the foreigners simply for being that, foreign. The people who descend from Germany, Italy, and other European nations who suffered the aftermath of the World Wars and fled for America and yet seek to deny what they were given. I am the descendant of such people as well, my Polish ancestors had no country to call home as it was annexed by the Germans and Russians.
My Irish ancestors migrated to escape the famine and were treated no better by Americans than the British treated them. My mother herself was fresh off the boat, having grown up in Portugal with the fortune of having at best a 3rd grade education before she came here. Who I would be to deny others that? The peace and order we enjoy so much that the rest of the world is not so lucky to have.
2008 was when I became increasingly political in my family. It was the first election I remember, I didn't even know who George W. Bush was until I was in middle school. My father slowly became indoctrinated by the Tea Party propaganda Fox News was spreading and I had started to imitate him.
If it wasn't for the miracle of the internet to show me the truth and some compassion, I would not be as moderate as I am today. That side of me wants me to hold my nose and vote for the common interest in Clinton as much as I despise political dynasties, elitism, and business as usual in politics. She knows we are forced to pick her and the political aristocracy that she represents, something our founding fathers meant to stop from taking place.
Looking at Trump and his supporters, I could've easily been like them. Someone who would selfishly deny others what he was given.
It really is true when this is the most important election in our lives, specifically the millennials. The 2008 Recession was what set the foundation for our future. Our economy recovered yet wage laws, healthcare and college tuition remained their pre-2008 identities. Too expensive for any youth to live on their own now, unlike what it was for our parents and the wrong decision now will send it from being difficult to impossible to live.
Yet even if Clinton is elected, Trump has inflicted a scar, or more aptly put a disease, on our nation. He has created a movement of hate, mistrust, and scapegoating. His supporters will not silently go away, they will sense any weakness to seize public office and enforce their beliefs with the fervor Trump has instilled.
Wow, what a long winded post. It felt great to finally release that though.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
Pence is equal to or worse than Trump based simply on how terrible of a governor he was, let alone we get to his extremely fundamentalist views and how those impacted Indiana. Also he's counter-productive to his own views as a pro lifer who thinks birth control such as condoms aren't useful. I'll take Tim Kaine as a president 100 times over Pence simply based on these aspects.
he's counter-productive to his own views as a pro lifer who thinks birth control such as condoms aren't useful.
God, what a giant idiot
how can a politician be that contradictory
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
Likewise. I support Clinton so that one day in office she will say "I think I'm going to retire and give Bernie Sanders the presidency."
Sorry Olbermann but Giant Meteor 2016 wasn't on the ballot. Trump was a close second.
Doesn't really matter who you vote, anyone whose seen the political machine from the inside knows it's too complicated and confusing for any one person to have much power, even the commander-in-chief.
I support Trump on the basis that we could impeach him and have Pence as president instead.
What makes you think Trump would be willing to abide by the impeachment laws?

TRUMP SUPPORTER
Her face displays equal parts joy and horror.
Poignant. :v:
Impassioned/emotional politics are bad. This is propaganda. Subject matter being wrong or right is irrelevant when presented like this.

I think Trump is big pile of poopy because of how he acts and how bad his policies are.
Oops, I guess I just presented propaganda
Making a decision because something riles you up is an awful time to make a decision. That's all I'm saying.
Making a decision because something riles you up is an awful time to make a decision. That's all I'm saying.
And then thinking about it and dissecting it and realizing "Wow this idea is even worse than proposed" and then being angry at that point? You would still invalidate that wouldn't you?

Guess we got a daughter fickler over here fellahs

That's what I would hope myself, most, or all people would do. Things are going to make us emotional, so it's good to stop and think after the fact. That's just healthy behavior. The point I'm making is that the entire premise of the video is to sway decision making based on emotion. The facts he presents are undercut by the fact the intent is to get you worked up.
The OP video is the same vein as something like this:

It's doomsaying. It's "get riled up". I stand behind that I think it's an irresponsible and shitty tactic.

... or maybe people are getting worked up because the facts are what they are?

I don't disagree with his message, but this video is 100% fearmongering.
