Sorry for making one thread after another, but I decided that I wanted to make my own piece for fun, and want to see if this would work.
I took one of these

Cut a hole in the side for a carb, and am gonna cut a slightly bigger hole that's large enough for a wrench socket to go into, put a spare one in with some glue to keep it in place, and put some foil with a few holes poked into it inside of the socket so the bud doesn't just fall in.
I know that foil isn't good for you, but it's all I have until I can get a real screen.
I was also going to secure the top on and use that as a mouthpiece.
So would this work?
Hmm, it would, but you might want to take the funnel kind of bit off, just the top part of it, to decrease the drag.
How far down do you think, to where the lines are?

I've never known what drag refers to with pipes.
It's like, the difference between sucking through a biro tube and a big highlighter tube, the smaller biro tube will be harder to suck through, which means it is creating more drag. I think.
And yes, just take the conical part off.
Ahh. Well, I don't mind drag then. As long as it's not one of those pipes that almost make you pass out because you have to pull so hard.
Reminds me of one of my straight pipes clogged with resin BLECH
Old headphones can be used as a screen. The metal part that covers the driver works really well, not all headphones have them though, but iPod ones work the best.

Ya see this bit here.

They are bendy aswell, so you can mould them into whatever or cut them however to fit. I made mine into a cone like shape and put it in the bottom of the bowl in my glass pipe... worked a treat
Looking at that bottle, you could easily stick a stem in the side out of a highlighter body (the default stem material), use that wrench socket for the bowl on the fat end of the highlighter, and find a screen and fill that shit up with water and you have a sick-ass bong!

Bongs are always better than pipes, and that thing would be that harshest pipe of all time
I already have a small carb halfway down the bottle, but could you give me a little more detailed directions for that, it sounds like it might be more fun.
How big is the carb hole?
Take one of these:

(everyone has one)
and stick it in the carb hole. If it fits tightly, do the following:
take off the lid, pop open the back using scissors or something, get the ink cartridge out, and anything else, and stick it into the hole, highlighter end first. Stick the wrench socket in the back end of the highlighter (try to use a socket that fits tightly, if it's too small, wrap some tape around it to make it thicker).
If the hole is too big for the highlighter, you can either tape the highlighter to make it thicker, or use so sort of glue to make the hole smaller.
Ok, I have it so the writing end is touching the bottom and I used some tape so that it's at a slight angle. Should I put something inside of the socket, or just pack some weed into it?
Also, I have an extra hole from the original carb, should I use it like a normal carb or tape over it,
Oh man, that was fucking amazing. I didn't use a filter because it stayed in there perfectly. I really only filled it with smoke twice, with about the same that I did last time, and I was seriously fucking losing it.

Looks alright. Good job.

I still have to turn this into a bong:

Simple, just fill it with water and stick a giant screen on the top...
Thinking of just dropping the bowl from my old bubbler into the side straw part, then just cutting a small hole in the top white part.

Now with that there you're gonna wanna cut that straw bit down a bit so that it's not being lit in your hair. Just turn the cup on its side and take an exactomungo knife right to the straw. cut it down to about halfway up the cup. that'll bubble so fat, you'll need a lot of water, in fact most of the bottom there will be water. and is that top white part removable? it might not be air tight if its removable

I was always planning on having lots of water in it.
With the top part, it is removable, but it is also pretty damn airtight, so I think it should be fine.
If it turns out that the straw part is too wide, then I could always chop most of it off and them melt it closed.
My main concern is that the plastic may melt too easily when it starts to heat up.
