The first lady met Leeks at a Toys-for-Tots event at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling located in southeast Washington, DC. White House press secretary Jay Carney was asked about the invitation in Friday’s briefing and responded, “If the president's watching this, this may be the first he's heard of it."Carney couldn’t confirm that FLOTUS will definitely attend but said, "The first lady’s commitment to military families is very strong indeed.
