Kingdoms of Amalur is very Fable-y gameplay wise but the quests are a major drag.

The main quest is pretty good, the faction quests are okay, the side quests are garbage.

Same here. My uncle introduced it to me when he worked at Blockbuster and he would always give me free rental things and when I was 6 and 7 I would only use them on Fable until my mom bought it for me eventually.

I heard the Anniversary version wasn't that great though, with the animations being pretty stiff since it was just pretty models and textures/lighting engine thrown over the base game. I might get it if it's not too expensive though, I loved Fable TLC to death.
Hell yes. I remember this; this and Morrowind were the reasons my Dad got an Xbox. Excitement abound.
