They tickle your hands with their legs when you pick them up
I can't believe he fucking died
that thing is such a little dude, I love that it has built in juggernaut armour-esque carapace when all it does is sit around all day

and it's been rocking it for 230 million years, nature's OG
I like Coyote Peterson, he does some stupid shit but he's always good to the animals and respectful to the environment.
Why would you even post this? I mean it's awesome and all but it'll be on my recommended in an hour or so anyway.
Museums and aquaria sometimes have horseshoe crab-petting tanks. I've seen two I think. They're neat.

Because people like me enjoy watching it and don't generally browse YouTube on its own.
That was so cute.

I wouldn't really even call most of those things stupid, you can tell from the videos that usually there's some pretty strong precautions/people in place in case there's any problems when he's dealing with very dangerous creatures. In which case getting stung/bit by those animals becomes pretty safe.
Horseshoe crabs are also important for modern medicine because their blood can be used to extract a solution which clots upon contact with bacterial endotoxins, which simply put means you can quickly detect bacteria in a sample.
i bet these guys will outlive us by a long run

The dumbest thing I've ever seen him do was this jump where he falls headfirst. Then Mark asks if he's ok.

I love Mark. Coyote could be dead with foam coming from his mouth and Mark would zoom in on his face and ask if he's ok.
