Ech what a way to spoil some character deaths and surprise moments. Why do they do that?
As much as I'm a sucker for Dinosaurs and all sorts of things like that, they're really going for "Bioengineered Dinosaur" again? But I guess it's a weapon (again)?
Fun garbage incoming.
Yeah but also this so I'll probably catch it on DVD or something, same with Rampage
Looks great. Loved the last one.
Lmao this looks like such dumb nonsense, might be worth a drunk watch for riffing or something but that's about it
Looks like a fun watch if only for SFX and dinosaurs.
I do not remember anything about Jurassic World except for the horribly, unnecessarily brutal death of the babysitter

I'm glad someone else noticed this because I thought it was fuckin bizarre when I watched it.
So there's ANOTHER experimental homicidal artificially created dinosaur running around, only not on the island this time? Alright.
Oh wow, another genetically engineered murderkillus rex! Because that totally worked out the last time you tried that!
EDIT: DAMNIT Terminator!

This one's smaller so because by JP hyperultrasuperlogic it's 66% smaller, it will be five hundred times smarter and murderier, and will use a device or tool by the end of the movie.

Oh maybe it will be like Land of the Dead and the dinosaurs will start learning how to use machine guns
It's so stupid I love it

Pretty sure this was an actual story idea for Jurassic Park 4, before it became Jurassic World.
Will the next movie be dinosaurs with guns like in Dino D-day?
Even if this sucks, it's giving us Evolution and that makes everything okay.
This seems very similar to the plot of the second movie (The Lost World)
They take Dino's off the island to recuperate their investment, then when they get back to mainland USA they break out and cause chaos in the suburbs, hmmm.

At some point in the series I started rooting for the dinos and thought all the humans were villians. Made it infinitely more enjoyable and tragic, because Tea Leoni didn't get nibbled on, even slightly, in JP3.
Looks boring and stupid af
Directed by experienced horror director J.A. Bayona though. He knows how to make suspenseful movies so there is much more hope for it to turn out good compared to JW.
So there's ANOTHER experimental homicidal artificially created dinosaur running around, only not on the island this time? Alright.
In the last one the scientist responsible for the dinosaurs in JW got off the island and secretly worked for a different corporation. He's the antagonist for this one and possibly the final movie and creates more hybrids.
They're not using the up to date depictions of dinosaurs, would be interesting to see that in an artistic movie sometime.
There is a strong suspicion that they were not bold like that.

The point of the books and movies has been that they are artificially changed. It's even said in the past movie that nothing is real so they don't use feathered dinosaurs.
Also, not all dinosaurs were feathered.

The gaps in their DNA was filled with modern creature's DNA. This turned out to be a big problem, because one of those creatures was a frog that could change it's gender if there were no females or males in a colony. This led to them breeding, which they weren't supposed to. This DNA filler is why the dinosaurs aren't 100% realistic.

There was also an element in the books that had a blink and you'll miss it reference in the movies that were actually more important and a much better control for the dinosaurs - an inbuilt lysine deficiency, so in the wild, the animals wouldn't be able to survive beyond a point. This was the then set up towards the end of the Lost World book with [sp]sightings of humongous beasts, likely the dinosaurs, in the dense forests of South America, where they were specifically ravaging fields of beans, rich in lysine, which indicates that the dinos cottoned onto this strategy to keep themselves alive.[/sp]
I'm a huge Crichton fan (though I don't like his Climate change denialist views that he had towards the end of his life). Supposedly, he did have a plan to write a short story that followed LW centered around a bunch of people (supposedly a team from a rival biotech firm) going into the jungle to document this, in the style of his other book, Congo. Never did happen, though.
It looks awful.

The Extended Look trailer was so far the best styled trailer. A trailer itself is never an indication of the quality of a movie.
I'm honestly hyped for this movie. I don't care how schlocky this movie's gonna be, because dinosaurs.
Look, I enjoyed the hell out of the second movie, and even some parts of the third were entertaining to me. I don't think I could ever be truly disappointed by a Jurassic Park movie.
That's the spirit, here we have an individual who genuinely cares about dinosaurs and that is good.
My friend and I spent three or four hours last night just yelling at each other over the movie from excitement. Pretty much, we're both hyped. 'Cause raptors.
Looks dope. Looking forward to it.
I'm hyped for this. Loved the first (or fourth?) one, and this looks dumber but funner. I'm okay with that.
