Unpopular opinion here, it's atleast 2 minutes too long for the joke.
-nvm-
Phil Spencer and Reggie are babies :v:
Reading Youtube comments for this video burns my flesh.

Only further proof that this game is for babies
You don't need a video to tell you this

"I didn't understood the satire and looked like a tool but I'll play my dumbass comment as satire as well to cover up my idiocy".
I just summed up the majority of the comments on that video.
Bunch of babies.
Wait, why are people getting mad at the video?
Is it because you play kids, or is it because you play squids?
I love VideoGamer, but as they don't take gaming journalism seriously compared with others they just get people raging. There's always been a running joke about Miller only liking manly man stuff.
Is he doing a Jeremy Clarkson impression or what?

God, I love the guy's accent
I will agree however that it's pretty funny how games Nintendo put out like Splatoon miss their target audience of seven to twelve year olds and the actual popular demographic of their games become 14 to 20 year olds.

I'm pretty sure that Nintendo is aware of the internet cultures surrounding them and subtly pander to it at this point.

as long as people are buying it, I don't think they care all that much who's playing
smash was meant as a family game and look how it turned out
splatoon is the my little pony of 2015
splatoon is the my little pony of 2015
That would imply it was meant for girls. :v:
Like Sailor Moon, Life as a Teenage Robot, Powerpuff Girls, Totaly Spies, blahblah blah.
[sp]I'm guilty of watching and liking all four[/sp]

Don't all of those shows have fight scenes? I feel like their story elements cater to girls, while there's action to cater for the boys.
But I dunno man, Splatoon is a babyman's game for weeaboos who like squids!
Still looks fun as hell, though. Might pick it up if I can convince some of my friends to- I haven't looked at it much, but there's ways to play with friends online? Just not ways to chat with them, right?

Under your logic:
Mario is the MLP of 1985
Wind Waker is the MLP of 2001
so on and so forth
Man, Pokemon was MLP tier and was meme but this tops it
You guys sicken me with your kid squids and actually enjoying a game
Remember, you can't like a cartoon-y thing or else you're comparable to a brony.
Once you're old enough you are only permitted to like gritty and serious things.
