Rectangular steering wheel bothers me but it seems like a cool little diddy, and I especially love the amount of windows / sunlight into the thing.
I wonder how many monkeys they electrocuted during the research and development.

Unless you have the world's fastest steering rack rectangular steering wheels don't make sense. They're for racecars, which are the car equivalent of a horse so thoroughbred for racing it can't walk on its own. Stop fucking putting them on street cars. The new Roadster concept has a rectangular steering wheel as well.

that rectangular steering wheel seems like it'd be unwieldy to use
also i hate this new trend of putting all the gauges and stuff in the middle of the car instead of in front of the driver/behind the steering wheel

The worst thing is the gear controls being on the steering wheel. You could see Jonny having to stop and look for them every time since the wheel was turned different amounts, causing them to be in a different spot, often upside-down. Surely they wouldn't be stupid enough to put that on the production car... right?

It's a concept car, it's supposed to look cool, not be practical
