I know it's a bit after this series finished and has been examined to death (He addresses this in the video!), but I love this guys interpretations and voice. All his content is well worth a watch.
I liked the video, but I opted to just skip past all the little skits. I know he did it because he wants to make a video that's more than just "look at this footage and listen to me", but the puppetry and acting made me cringe a bit.
It's also worth noting that, since WW2, the UK has had the highest numbers of fascist political parties in Europe. Later-half 20th century British culture had authoritarian streaks running through it. Knowing this doesn't really change too much except further support the authoritarian aspects of the show, but it fits nicely into the 1950s Britain setting.
That was legitimately a good take and a good analysis on the series, whereas most analysis videos I have seen come off as kinda forced or cringey at times. Then again, I guess my criticism of other videos goes against the message of this video and how it interpreted the series.
holy shit when he started talking about video 5 i almost lost my shit that tone and pacing though
I love Night Mind's videos and its so nice to see him gradually improve in quality over time with equipment and such, and now that his Patreon is doing so well (better than even he expected apparently, reaching his goal of 1.2k a month in less than A DAY) we'll see more frequent high quality stuff from him.
I love his cat personification.
It seems interesting but the narrator's voice suffers from the curse of wanting to be a radio personality that some Youtubers have. Content seems interesting, but the tone just throws me off a bit.
something about this guy's intonation just reminds me of those bad engrish asian videos

I just binge watched don't hug me I'm scared so I could watch this. Why did I keep putting this off over the years, that was fucking amazing, and that last episode.. I take it that was the finale yeah?
That was a pretty interesting video, whats his channel about?
That was a pretty interesting video, whats his channel about?
Deconstructing creepy internet phenomena and going into the details of everything about it, and explaining the sometimes hidden, deeper meaning behind what the original videos may have been trying to tell you especially in this case.
That was a pretty interesting video, whats his channel about?
He covers a lot of internet horror/ARG series, either explaining finished/popular ones or giving the spotlight to new, unknown ones. His first few "Explained" videos covered Marble Hornets and it's two most popular spin-offs, with these three series going for about 4 - 8 hours each (16 hours of content altogether!). I discovered him from his hour and a half long explanation of "This House Has People In It", which covered the ARG behind that adult swim short, and his explanation of Alan Tutorials. All his stuff is really thorough and well presented, if you have the time to sit down and watch them. If you want something shorter, most of his other videos that just cover new stuff or review games/movies only go for about 20 minutes or so.
My favorite videos from NM are Alan Tutorial and This house has people in it. Maybe it was just the source material but his overall explanations and presentation of the evidence really allows for both his interpretation to shine as well as allow you room to think of your own. His analysis isn't overbearing, which is a real hard balance to strike nowadays with summary videos. Most of the time you get someone who thinks their observation is the end all be all one, and excludes other possibilities. Gotta say I love this dude's content.
Those skits were so damn cool. You can tell that Night Mind really puts his effort into his videos, and this one is just one shining example of that.
