Seeking someone who can design a Book Cover for me - General

Hey there Facepunch, I'm currently writing a story for one of my school projects and I need to create a front cover that's computer-generated. Unfortunately, I'm very, very bad at Photoshop or any Graphics Program. I tried to make one in Photoshop Contest, but I was told that it was in the wrong section and had to be made here. So, I've decide to ask Facepunch for help on creating this Front Cover. I also don't have any 'reward', so, I really can't give you anything in return. I'm sorry. Here are some rules/guidelines which you [b]must[/b] follow, other than that you can go creative and beserk. [b]Rules/Guidelines[/b] [list] [*]The size of the cover must be the size of an A4 piece of paper. [*]Must have the title: "Left to Die" in a scary-looking font. [*]No Pornography. No gore. [*]Black and White or Colour, doesn't matter. [*]Must have a chilling feeling to it, or a sad one. (The story is about a kid who gets kicked out of his home and becomes homeless and meets an eight-year old kid named William and they basically become really good friends and try to find a new family. But, they die in the end as hostages, William gets hanged. Except for the main character who gets saved by a secret person.) [*]At least one person on the cover. [*]Don't stick a random picture of a homeless guy there unless if it's not really showing the face. I prefer the shadow look. e.g: [img_thumb]http://www.independentweekly.com.au/multimedia/images/full/357297.jpg[/img_thumb] [*]I'd like the scene of the cover to be on the streets or in an abandoned warehouse. [*]Night time in the picture, or maybe daytime but make it have a dark feeling towards the cover. [*]Portrait, no landscape. [*]I do not wish to have my name on it [*]Draw it in at least 300dpi and in CYMK [/list] I might add a few points later on. Please make sure you do ask questions about what else I'd like because I'd hate you to put effort in a really great cover but it isn't what I'm looking for. Go crazy but don't add too much effects that I can barely see anything. Thanks in Advance. Let the designing commence!

He is not asking you to write the story, he is just a shitty artist who needs a nice cover. Kmartsqrl, you used to be a mod, don't make such asinine statements.

There's nothing asinine about my statement. If he "needs" to have a digitally generated cover to go with his project then it's part of the project, and is therefore part of his homework.

This thread may be about me asking someone to do my homework for me. I'm quite shattered by the fact that's the only thing people here care about, they'd rather point out the wrong of a thread than actually follow the purpose of what the thread asks for. Is anyone here going to try and do this?

I might have a bash at it when I wake up... if I don't forget :v: By the way, if you're printing this out you might want to remind people to draw it in at least 300dpi and in CYMK so it doesn't print all pixelly or dull colour wise. By the way, do we get credited.. at all? I don't really mind if we don't but certain stock image creators require it and I'd feel horrible not crediting them somewhere. It would just have to be a small line somewhere saying "stock image by such and such".

I can include it on the first page of the actual story itself?

Also, white backgrounds save so much printer ink and that stuff is expensivveee.

Wow it look way too busy and overall the composition is really bad. It should look less amateur, really, after all it's a book. It should feel more simple. The actual cover feels like an teenager emo zombie apocalypse book. There is nothing good about that cover, anyone would feel embarassed for buying that.
