I never said that. The Tea party is a bunch of idiots. I was just saying that the democrats have been nagging at the past 8 years of bush. That's how politics works. One side bitches at the other side, then when they swap power, that side bitches back. You shouldn't act surprised that the republicans are bitching. All of politics is a tightrope. Every party performs best when it has competition to play off of. If the democrats were in office too long the country would go to shit. If the republicans were in office too long the country would also go to shit. It is the balancing interplay between the two which keeps everything more or less stable. Same goes for here in the UK, though democrats and republicans are swapped for Labour and Tories. Too much of Labour and we end up overspending on the underclass's and public sector. Too much of Tories and these areas get starved of essential funds and distribution of wealth becomes non-existent.

Very objective topic, but some notable Republicans have been extremely counter-productive in Congress; Their strictly partisan mentality kills even good-intended bills, and their demand for "Cut my taxes, do more for me" really pisses me off.
On the other hand, some Democratic pushed bills are just full of waste, so I can't blame others saying the spending is way out of control.
