"Aimee's searching for a reason why this happened. She can't understand it. She's going to get some counseling."
The boy testified they had sex in Waterford Township and Grand Rapids when he was aged 14.

This may be statutory rape, which makes it legally wrong, according to my morals, there's nothing wrong with having sex with (most) teenagers though. They're supposed to be mature enough.

Wrong so wrong, teenagers are NOT supposed to be mature enough. This boy was 14, and usually you're not mature enough at that age mentally. That the boy decided to fuck someone 20 years older than him is also evidence to this, although I can easily see her mother seducing him.

I feel bad for pedophiles. I think that they're just born with an extremely unfortunate immoral and illegal sexual fetish. Don't get me wrong, I don't condone pedophilia and don't find that laws against pedophilia are too lenient (although I do believe the age of sexual consent should drop to 16) however I do find it unfortunate that they're born with such an immoral sexual fetish that most have no willpower over.

I don't know why everyone says this about criminals who happened to have committed particularly heinous acts. Sure, they'd get a more drastic sentence, but I'm pretty sure the other inmates wouldn't give a shit about whatever the person next to them did. After all, I doubt a bunch of murderers are going to single out the pedophile due to their saintly standards of moral conduct, even within the criminal realm.

Imagine you are 14, a woman that tracks you down says she wants to bone you. She's not necessarily super sexy, but you're 14 and your hormones are out of control. Anyone of us would probably do it without thinking much.
Maybe she did tell him that she was his mom and he didn't believe her.
