Pepsi Cease Fire - General - Facepunch Forum

For those who came in here thinking Pepsi started a war with Coca-Cola, sorry to disappoint. And you're probably slightly retarded. Anyways, to the main thread: [img]http://www.bevreview.com/wp-content/image_pepsimaxceasefire2.jpg[/img] It's delicious. Now, Pepsi with lime has been around before, but this tastes less carbonated. [img]http://www.bevreview.com/wp-content/image_doritosburn1.jpg[/img] Also delicious. Best part about all this: It's two dollars for both. Pepsi and Doritos partnered up and are having a "Buy one, get one free" deal. Buy a large bag of these spicy Doritos and get a 2-liter of Pepsi Cease Fire for free. Or just buy either alone for $1. Simplicity at it's best. Personally, the Doritos don't taste hot to me, but nothing really does after you've tasted fucking pepper spray. In fact, this weekend I'm planning on making my own little salsa to go along with these chips, and Cease Fire of course... :)

I saw this at the market a few days ago, kinda wondered how it would taste. Does it actually reduce spiciness? I always assumed you needed a base like milk or sour cream for that, but I dunno. I didn't buy any because I was there for my Vanilla Coke fix, didn't have time to waste seeing if this stuff was good or not. Like you said, you need a base milk or cream to really neutralize the heat. The Pepsi does reduce it for a few seconds. If you have it just as a standalone drink it tastes pretty good.

The chips are more of a slow burn. After a few, you'll feel some heat. Depends on what you can tolerate really. And this hot sauce was in the One million, seven hundred thousand range.

You got sauce-scammed, bro. If you want real mouth-blistering, eye-popping heat, you're gonna have to get something like Blair's Reserve. Though 5 mil+ scoville may be less "hot" and more "my tongue doesn't work anymore", so try it at your own risk. EDIT: Actually, scratch that. Reserve is made to be admired, not consumed. There's a very likely chance you'd fuck up your insides eating any.
