I just watched the movie twice, and still have no idea or assumptions on what is inside the briefcase. Does anyone know?

You're not supposed to know. That's the point.
Judging by the yellow light, probably gold or diamonds.
You're not supposed to know. That's the point.
this. I think it's a stylistic device
It's not important.
Maybe not knowing what it is is a metaphor, maybe it's trying to get across that it doesn't matter what's in the case, it doesn't matter what crimes and wars are happening for, it doesn't matter how valuable or precious an item suposedly is, maybe it's just a sign from taranteno to stop all of the crime, as it's not worth fighting over these unimportant valuable objects. Alternativley it just probably seems more valuable if you don't know what it is.
Judging by the yellow light, probably gold or diamonds.
Since when does reflections project images? No, the lights are from lamps inside the briefcase.
A light bulb.
I don't care if I'm not supposed to know whats inside, I want to know anyway!

A human soul. That's why Jules and Vincent can't be killed (a "miracle" according to Jules) while they're carrying it.
There is a crazy theory that the briefcase contains Marsellus Wallace's soul. But yeah, apparently you aren't meant to know what is in the briefcase so that the audience would "fill in the blanks with their own ultimate contents" according to co-writer Rodger Avery. It's in the Snopes article I linked to. [editline]05:28PM[/editline] Whoops, late because I was finding an article which mentioned it.
It's not important.
it is very important
A MacGuffin plot device
You go to TVTropes! Actually though, it's that black crime boss's immortal soul.
I always wondered if there was actually even something in it. Empty FTW.

Well upon close evaluation I assume it's a series of yellow light bulbs hooked up to a circuit with a switch that turns on when someone opens the briefcase. :awesome:
Since when does reflections project images? No, the lights are from lamps inside the briefcase.
That makes no sense, both Gold and Diamonds reflect light. Light isn't an image.
it's a golden gun
That makes no sense, both Gold and Diamonds reflect light. Light isn't an image.
There are essentially two types of projected images; the ones that can only be picked up by your eyes or a camera, like computer screens, and the ones that can be reflected onto a surface and be seen "indirectly".
I see you've been on a bit of a Quentin Tarantino spree I recommend True Romance if you haven't already seen it. He wrote it but didn't direct it.
I think Quentin Tarantino said "The content of the briefcase is what life is made of". So that's the answer to the question.
a ticket to get goldmember without paying or doing a stupid thing. but nowadays he doesn't need it anymore.
