Nintendo Switch Presentation stream (starts 8pm pst) - General

I can't believe I'm staying up till fucking 4AM for this. Hoping for a lot of interesting third party announcements but terrified it'll all be rereleases as opposed to new games, leading to a similar Wii U third party situation. Speaking of rereleases I'm also hoping stuff like Bayo and W101 get ported up

hah, I got mixed up on the time and thought I missed it.

So what should I do to ensure a Pre Order? From what I hear gamestops gonna be running thin. Can I do it through Amazon?

Oh shit not even 6 hours, I figured it would be during the day for me. I guess I need to pull an all nighter, because I'm too stupid to just wait for the information tomorrow.

After the bombshell that was the Wii U, I can't believe people are actually rushing to pre-order Nintendo consoles. too skeptical to do that myself, I'll just wait 6 months and pick one off a shelf when they're everywhere and no one wants them.

If everyone is buying the switch, then it won't share the Wii U's problem.

Also, I liked the WiiU's remote play functionality, and am therefore excited for the natural evolution of that concept.

I wonder if the new Nintendo prez will have a fraction of the character Iwata had

The thing I care about most is exclusive titles, and the WiiU had Splatoon, Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Nintendo Land, Windwaker HD, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, all games I want to play. All PS4 has that I really want to play is Bloodborne, Yakuza 6, and Persona 5.

It's some of the funnest local multi couch gaming i've done ever. It just didn't pick up any steam with devs, but honestly, smash 4 makes up for it. If switch has one game as good as SMB4 I'll be sated

Has Splatoon been confirmed to be just a port with updated graphics and extras or is there still hope that its going to be a sequel?

Will there be a Twitch stream or is it just going to be youtube?

The chat freezes after thirty seconds but other than that I've never experienced the problem you're talking about.

It's the same thing I do with E3 and a bunch of other gaming events. Normally I'd watch it with friends in a call but nobody wants to stay up.
