Damn, look at the state of those anechoic tiles... We really could do with some better adhesive for those, even considering the conditions they're put under.
This has turned into a dick waving contest.

Thankfully we wield a reticulated python and the Spanish wield an emaciated worm.

Nuclear dick waving contest.
All of our submarines are nuclear powered. Probably, once again, a routine deployment that the Daily Mail has interpreted as an act of war.

Does it mean Nuclear powered, or has Nuclear weapons?
Heh.
I'm pretty sure with most of our Subs the only time the public knows where they are is when they're in port, it's probably a routine deployment.
Nuclear submarine.

That's a pretty wild assumption and no.
My uncle who served as a Chief Petty Officer on various Royal Navy vessels including a nuclear sub (powered not armed) said a stop in Gibraltar was as routine as it was for any surface Navy ship. This was during the cold war though during the late 70s early 80s though unless things have changed since.

If I remember my nuke history right at some point the auth system was changed (might have been before they were purchased) because it could be prevented by the Americans.

Also I bet it wasn't there for much longer after someone spotted it. I was watching a show on Channel 5 a year or two ago and it was following a sub crew. They were transiting somewhere off the coast of Libya during all that shit and they got spotted by a (friendly!) ship and suddenly changed their plans and left the area very quickly.
Its almost like they are meant to be secret.
isn't this like the entrance to the med? i mean thats like interpriting an aircraft carrier going through the panama canal as an act of imminent war with panama
"Hey yo Spain, we're just poppin' our heads up here to get some fresh air cause someone in the radar room farted. Got a few megtons worth of nukes on board. Any ways, I'll be seeing you later. I'm gonna go back to chillin' at the bottom of the pond doing whatever it is that submarines do."
is it not Gibraltan(s) instead of Gibraltarian
no. its gibraltarian
